If Steve had proposed Round Four, Rogue wouldn't have hesitated to climb all over him again, soreness be damned. Her appetite for him was insatiable, and she was more than willing to embrace every chance she had to be physically close with him in any and all ways possible.
She couldn't tell whether he was grinning at the content or the structure of what she'd said (sometimes those southernisms just slipped out, especially when good manners were involved), but she loved seeing him that happy. Her arms wrapped around his neck as he carried her, and she cringed comically as he fixed her shorts. Even when he sat and gave her that grin though, she couldn't get rid of her own smile.
"You look like you just ate a canary," she informed him almost accusingly, and she tried really hard to keep the laughter out of her voice, she really did. She failed, of course, but at least she tried.
