In a way, it was disappointing that Steve wasn't able to really let go of his control. Rogue understood what that would mean, she'd been around people with super strength before, but she wanted to see that look of pure abandonment on his face. Perhaps, one day... No, it would be too risky. Without the practice of safely using her powers on other people, she would never attempt such on Steve - the memories of feeling people die under her touch were still too fresh in her mind.
She tilted her head to give him better access as he left more kisses down her throat. It would be amusing to have to cover them up with makeup when she went out; it was like a rite of passage that she was finally getting to experience after seeing so many of her friends go through it in their younger years. She and Steve certainly were like too randy teenagers, and who knew when or if it would ever fade.
That burning pressure was building inside her, threatening to consume her completely, and it wasn't more than a minute later that she was on the egde, so very close. "Oh lord," she breathed, finally managed to get hold of her voice for at least a moment or two, though the words were squeezed out between what were almost keening, pleading sounds now. "Steve. Steve, I- I love you." It had to be said. She wanted to say it a thousand times, to ingrain the sound of it in his thoughts. Because it was true, and she would tell him every day for the rest of their lives.
