She'd seen the way he looked when she touched him, and while she didn't fully understand the meaning behind it, she could tell it wasn't something he was fully comfortable with. It was a little sad, in a way. She was going to so much effort to be able to touch people safely, but it seemed like it would still be an infrequent part of her life.
She had nothing to complain about though. Anything was better than the sensory deprivation she'd been living with, after all.
