Rogue wasn't used to people touching her. It wasn't part of her everyday life, hadn't been for over a decade except for a select few people, and with the war, well. It wasn't a surprise that she jerked away from Todd's touch, confused and absolutely terrified that the soldiers had come, the Sentinels had found them, they were being taken away.

It was only because she instinctively recognized Todd as something else that she didn't react by attacking him, though her gloved hands did still come up defensively. When the confusion passed after a few moments, she visibly relaxed into the chair.

"Please don't ever do that if I'm not wearing my gloves," she half-pleaded, half-cautioned, rubbing her hands over her face while her heartbeat slowly began to return to a normal rate. "I don't want to hurt you."
