It had been heartbreaking to see Sheppard look at her like that. Like she'd meant the world to him. It was more than she'd been able to handle at the time, when that look prompted her to return feelings that she wasn't even sure she could have anymore, at least not while on Atlantis. For now, whatever warm feelings she'd felt toward the city had been replaced by anxiety and fear, however unwarranted.
"No," she said simply, easily, and without hesitation. "I miss him, but not... I feel broken, and being on Atlantis just made it worse. I felt like they were expecting me to just be okay, and I don't know that I ever will be." She gave Todd a small, unsteady smile. "But I don't feel that way here, especially not with you. So I'm not going anywhere."
