Her episode had been a surprise to all, and the evidence of torture that lingered on her body as Beckett found was enough to tell them that in the time she'd been gone, things had been awful for her.

A couple days passed, Beckett keeping her sedated though weaning her off of it when her hysterical episodes seemed to stop. Marines and anyone in a mask were still forbidden from the hospital in order to keep her calm and not trigger anything.

Sheppard visited as often as he could, though as she was unconscious or too out of it to reply, he kept talking to a minimum. Teyla visited when Sheppard could not. Her son too, he'd grown, now almost eight years old.

Four days since Rogue had arrived passed and Beckett had taken her off the sedatives all together.

"How are we feeling today?" he asked, setting a breakfast tray on the table beside her bed.
