Rogue's smile at the question was a bit sheepish and a lot like the cat that ate the canary. She just couldn't help it.

The second question was more difficult to respond to. "I'd like to stay," she answered carefully, reaching out to center one of the pieces in its square, "but I realize that one of the crew would probably be more useful to you and the commander. So I'll go back tomorrow." She was already missing Todd something fierce, and by returning to the hive as he returned to Atlantis she'd be prolonging their time apart even further.
