Atlantis was a beautiful city and somewhere she'd love to explore more fully, but the marines kept her on edge, as well as the fact that she just wasn't all that comfortable around humans anymore. There were exceptions, of course, and she did have a small number of friends in the city, but there was nothing like the sense of security that she felt while on the hive ship.
