It was true, humans had an incredibly short lifespan when compared to wraith. Thinking of Todd's age was mindboggling at times for Rogue, who couldn't even begin to comprehend what living that long would be like.

"She died of old age, her body failing her when she was 81 years old," she explained, using the phrasing the queen had used. "For that era, she lived a very long life. She outlived her husband by forty years, and her nine children married into the major royal houses of Europe, furthering her legacy."

Rogue watched the queen, trying to guess what she might be thinking and failing miserably. "If the name isn't to your liking, I can come up with other suggestions," she offered almost hesitantly. "Or I can leave it alone entirely."
