He was right about the switch, and she took as much comfort in that as she did in the touch to her hair, her eyes drifting shut as she savored that small physical show of affection. Despite what her earlier outburst might have conveyed, she did enjoy Todd's company, even craved it when he wasn't around. It didn't always have to be just the two of them, but it was certainly moments like these with only them that meant the most to her.
