Being alone in Todd's room was nothing new, but it had never felt empty before. An hour passed while Rogue tried to wait up in case he did return that night, but it was a futile effort on many levels, and she finally gave up and went to sleep.

She woke when he returned though, startled awake by his arrival and then relaxing back into the pillows again. She watched him for a moment, expression uncertain, before quietly asking, "Coming to bed?" Hoping the answer was yes.
