Rogue looked at her hands for a long moment before taking a deep breath and doing as he said, tugging them off and returning them to her pocket. Whether he liked it or not, some part of her would probably always be afraid of hurting him with her powers.

"Is there anything I should know?" she asked him, rubbing one of the braids he currently wore between her thumb and forefinger. "Any significance to the different types beyond just variety of decoration?" She wanted to make sure she did this right and didn't make any sort of cultural blunder.
