Rogue gave him a confused look until he indicated his hair, then she grinned. She had forgotten, even after so looking forward to it, and she felt almost a little silly for it. She pulled her gloves from her pants pockets and tugged them on before stepping close to him.

"Is it weird to admit that I'm actually really excited for this part?" she asked, reaching up with her good arm to comb her fingers through a few strands of hair. "I find it kind of thrilling that everyone will know that I chose you." Because from what he'd told her, that's the way it would be perceived.
