They all enjoyed the meal, and the dessert too very much indeed. There'd been a definite air of disappointment when they arrived but after clean up and as they left, they certainly looked in better spirits.

During dinner, they spoke of everything from the meal itself, to the engineers finally working out a way to make showers work on the hive, to the younger wraith on board the hive and how their progress with fighting and their chosen professions was coming along.

When the last of the plates had been put away, Todd and Rogue headed back to her chambers, spirits better than they had been in the last couple days, despite the afternoon's poor news.
