Steve could see fatigue start to settle in fine lines around Rogue's mouth, and figured he probably wouldn't be able to talk her into eating any more, for the moment. So he let her question distract him. Reaching up to scratch his thumb over his eyebrow in contemplation, he scrunched his face a little as he considered. He felt pretty settled now, despite his nightmare... but it probably wouldn't hurt to get some of that extra energy out. Running always helped clear his head; it was one of the few times he just felt blank, and in this new world, that was a feeling he'd begun to treasure, and horde.
"Probably a couple hours," he finally said, rubbing the back of his neck in vague embarrassment. "I'll probably run down to the bridge, maybe loop through the park a couple times." If Rogue didn't know the area well, that might not seem too unusual - but it was easily a two hour-or-longer run, just one way. It felt kind of ridiculous to say he'd do all that, and still be back in about two hours.
