Blushing, Steve pressed his face further into Rogue's hair, nuzzling a little as he did. "Just gotta find the right partner," he finally murmured, remembering the times before when those words had been spoken, either by him... or Peggy. It didn't fill him with grief like it had just a few short, long days ago, thinking about what he'd missed out on, what the ice had stolen from him. It saddened him as an opportunity lost, but he had Rogue now, and Steve had always been a man to treasure what he had over questions of what could have been.

He'd grown still, as he thought about all that, though. Rousing himself a little from his musings, he told Rogue, "I think I want to take you dancing. I don't... really know how, but I want to learn. With you."
