Rogue loved living in Chinatown because there was always something going on. Neighborhood celebrations, personal triumphs that were shared with everyone. She liked the people, especially her landlady who owned the tea shop downstairs - normally Mrs. Chen didn't like outsiders and would never have rented to someone who wasn't Chinese, but Rogue had always been pretty good at charming people. She'd even started helping out in the shop every so often, learning how to make tea properly, according to tiny Mrs. Chen.

"That sounds great," she announced with a squeeze to his arm. "I'm so excited to spend today with you. And to see your apartment later - I hope it's a bit bigger than mine, you barely fit in there," she teased him with a giggle, though he could live in a shoebox and she wouldn't care.

The day was really beautiful, just perfect for a picnic. It could have been overcast or rainy, but this year they were lucky enough to have blue skies and a nice breeze that would be better felt in the park.
