"I suppose I can live with that," she teased right back, eying that pose for a moment before rolling her eyes in mock exasperation. If he was just going to sit there looking so inviting, then she couldn't very well pass up such a golden opportunity. Keeping hold of that hand so his arm didn't slip, she turned slightly toward Steve so she could lean into him and rest her cheek on his shoulder. Her free arm slid across his waist, and she sighed happily. It was the best cuddle she could manage on the bench, but it was still damn near perfect.

"Lordie, this feels good," she murmured quietly, tension easing out of her muscles as she relaxed against him. It had been a very long time since she'd been held by anyone like this; she'd missed it.
