Part of Rogue wanted to rush into things, to take it fast and heavy and throw caution right out the window. But she understood that was her loneliness talking, her desperation for companionship, and she knew it was something she would regret afterward, especially if it were with Steve. He deserved so much better than that, and if she had any chance at all of having something real and true with him, then there was no way in hell that she would do anything to jeopardize that.

"Sometimes being around other people can be nice," she offered, trying to make sure he understood that it was his decision, but she would really be fine with either option. "Other times, it can be a bit much. This day's gonna be all about you, sugar, so you should decide what you'd rather have. So long as you're there to keep me company, I won't mind wherever we end up."
